Sign up now to consign your gently-used kids' items: you'll earn some dough, help other families, and raise funds for our missions! With one of the highest percentages offered to consignors in the area (up to 80 percent for volunteers), our consignment sale is the place to sell your gently-loved kids' items and brings hundreds of shoppers to our campus. And 100% of sale proceeds benefit our missions and outreach ministries, which serve people from Richmond to South Sudan.

Have you ever wanted to travel to the Holy Land?
Interest Meeting: Tuesday, January 31, 7 PM
You are invited to journey with Kathy and Steve Rogers on an 11-day trip to Israel from August 29-September 8, 2023. Traveling with the group will be Pastor Tom Barila, who has visited the Holy Land several times and, along with our Israeli tour guide, will lead the group in visiting significant Biblical and historical sites. Along the way, Steve will discuss how certain locations impacted his spiritual journey and inspired him to write his novel Into the Room. If you're interested, an informational meeting will be held in the Parlor on Tuesday, January 31 at 7:00 PM. Candle Ministry Volunteers are needed
Members of the Candle Ministry at CCE lovingly maintain the candles in our sanctuary for worship and other events. This is a “behind-the-scenes” ministry that doesn’t take a lot of time, and can be done any time during the week. All ages can serve in this ministry, and it would be a great family activity. If you would be interested in serving, please contact Michael Compton.

Register now for the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
February 21, 6:00-7:30 PM in the Worship Building
What is Shrove Tuesday? It’s a day of indulging in the rich, fatty foods that were traditionally abstained from during Lent. Making pancakes was a way to use up butter, milk, sugar, and eggs before the 40-day fast. So on the day before Lent – which begins on Ash Wednesday – we gather for this “Fat Tuesday” and you are invited!
All are welcome to gather for a delicious, fun-filled Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. In addition to pancakes and sides, we’ll have fun trivia for all ages, plus crafts for the little ones. And the "prayground" is always open! Please register in advance so we can plan accordingly. Friends and neighbors are always welcome!

God of change and transition, we ask for your blessing as we move toward the call for a new rector. Help us stay faithful and steadfast during this time of change – committing ourselves to prayer, Bible study, and regular attendance in worship. Please enable the discernment committee to offer its best God-given gifts of wisdom, compassion, compromise, and deep faith as we discern the best choice to lead our church. We thank you, Lord, for blessing this work in your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
