Budget conversations can easily become all about numbers, but at the core the budget is a missional document that supports the ministry of the congregation. How do we prepare budgets and communicate to our communities about them in ways that both honor the important details and speak about the mission of the congregation?
Canon to the Ordinary, Steven Wilco, will share some ideas and tips as many of our congregations enter into the season of budget preparation. Our HR Specialist, Susan Olbon, will be present to offer insights about what we need to consider around staffing when building our budgets.
While this gathering is especially for treasurers, we welcome clergy and wardens who wish to be part of the conversation on September 25. We look forward to taking your questions and ideas for topics to cover in future sessions.

Oct 21-24
Madison, CT
"Together we will take a meandering path through the intimate and messy work of healing on dangerous roads. We will reflect on good Samaritans and the communities behind them. Come walk along the shoreline, breathe in salt air, and let the ocean’s vastness guide you towards deeper compassion and trust in the God who continues to call and equip you in new ways. Through prayer, deep rest, and shared reflections, we trust that new seeds we plant together will produce new fruits as we return to our ministries to love and serve our people with renewed vision and vocation."
