The Mission and Outreach Commission, which currently administers the fund, is accepting applications for scholarships for the 2025-2026 school year.

All active members of the church who will be attending junior college, college, university, seminary, or other post-high school educational institution this fall are encouraged to apply for a grant from The Church Scholarship Fund. This fund was established in 1989 and was made possible in part by a gift from the estate of Ruth H. Born, in memory of her parents, Edwin & Christina Legge.

Email the church office to request an application copy. Completed forms need to be submitted to the church office no later than May 30, 2025.

Please email all forms, if possible, to the church office (office@bbpc.org). And please note that the essay may also be submitted as a one-minute video. If you have any questions regarding the Fund or application, please contact the church office by email or phone (732) 356-3575.

 The ShopRite card fund is dangerously low

and in need of donations.

Here is an example of the help that the ShopRite gift card program provides:

Single mom of three children under the age 10 who works full-time and cares for her elderly, disabled mother. She has limited eligibility for SNAP benefits due to her income and utilizes senior services for her mother, but more is needed to supplement food security for the household. 

Please consider supporting this program by donating ShopRite gift cards or making a monetary donation earmarked for ShopRite gift cards (please specify this in the memo line).

Your donations will enable us to purchase the cards at a 5% discount. If you'd like to donate electronically, you can select the "Love Local" option on EZ Tithe.
