Operation St. Nick is part of our emphasis in missions to Love Local. For over 24 years, we have worked with the Somerset County Office of the Division of Child Protection and Permanency of the State Department of Children and Families to provide gifts during the Christmas season for children living in foster homes. Signups will begin November 23.



We will soon put in the BUZZ and Mission Monday a form that lists foster children living in Somerset County for whom you may purchase a gift for this Christmas season. Instructions about using the form will accompany the form. 

BBPC Food Pantry Amazon WishList

Your support for our wish list is amazing! Packages have been coming in each week and we can't thank you enough. These donations help us make a difference for our clients.

DONATIONS MUST BE SENT TO THE CHURCH

Thanks to the continued support and donations from the BBPC congregation, the Sunday Food Pantry is able to provide food and non-food items to approximately 140 families every week. In addition to leaving donations on the church pew, BBPC members can now donate to the pantry through the newly established, easy to use Sunday Food Pantry Amazon WishList. Simply click on the link and purchase an item(s) from the list. Donations will be delivered to the BBPC office. The donated food supply from local supermarkets varies weekly while the number of families attending is increasing. 

A major monthly expense of the food pantry is purchasing plastic bags for packaging personal care items such as shampoo, laundry detergent, toothpaste & toilet paper. If anyone knows of, or has a connection with a company producing or distributing these items, please contact D'Maris. We are hoping for ongoing donations or reduced pricing on these items.

SHOPRITE GIFT CARD PROGRAM

WE NEED YOUR HELP! 

 The ShopRite card fund is in need of donations.

A recent recipient of our Shoprite card program:

A single elderly woman is currently experiencing homelessness after months of searching for affordable housing without success. Despite her efforts, rising rents and limited availability have left her without a safe place to stay. Gift cards help her purchase ready-to-eat meals, fruits and vegetables. 

Please consider supporting this program by donating ShopRite gift cards or making a monetary donation earmarked for ShopRite gift cards (please specify this in the memo line).

Your donations will enable us to purchase the cards at a 5% discount. If you'd like to donate electronically, you can select the "Love Local" option on EZ Tithe.
