at the Pitser Garrison Civic Center 

in Lufkin, Texas. 

This conference will apply to offer contact hours for counselors, social workers, LMFTs, nurses, and activity professionals. In addition, a 3-hour workshop on Texas Ethics for LPCs, LMFTs, and social workers will be offered (as a pre-conference) at no additional charge. Pre-conference workshops will take place on Tuesday, March 19.

Theme: Making a Leap Forward

Objectives:

• Participants will identify strengths in support systems while exploring the dynamics and diversity of communities, groups, and individuals.
• Participants will learn tools to improve communication and foster connectedness, inclusion, and growth.
• Participants will explore ways to manage challenging behaviors and conflicts in special populations.
