Trinity Sunday

Rev. Bobby Musengwa

Transitional General Presbyter

“One thing beautiful about Trinity Sunday — it’s really a celebration of the ultimate hospitality. The Trinity is God’s perfect community of love, and on this special Sunday in our church calendar, we celebrate how that divine household welcomes us in.”

PDA Offers Resilience Training

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is pleased to partner with Mission Presbytery in offering a 90- minute interactive program focused on building resilience in the midst of daily life stress. In our time together, members of the PDA team will focus on increasing our understanding of signs of stress and sharing in-the-moment strategies to handle stress. Participants wil have the opportunity to share what works for them in staying centered and bouncing back in challenging times.

We’ll offer strategies that focus on healing and resilience-building tools, including story telling, relaxation and self-care techniques, spiritual practices, and strengthening positive connections with others. Each participant will create a personalized self-care plan during our time together.

This week, join us in prayer for the congregations, clergy, and staff of Covenant Presbyterian Church San Antonio, Oak Hills Presbyterian Church San Antonio, Island Presbyterian Church Corpus Christi, and First Presbyterian Church Lockhart.

The church might always find themselves in the minority, but being the church that seeks to be faithful to the gospel of Jesus Christ always runs that risk.
