APCE Annual Event to be held January 21-24, 2026 in Pittsburgh

SCRAPCE Scholarship to Attend APCE Annual Event

The Association for Partners in Christian Education (APCE) offers a conference like no other! The regional body of APCE, called SCRAPCE, offers scholarships to encourage participation. Volunteers who do Christian formation and education at any age (children, youth, adults) in your church or ministry setting are encouraged to attend this conference and apply for this scholarship.


For persons serving in ministry in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Louisiana, this scholarship will cover:


$180 for in-person or online participants


Applications for the scholarship are due by November 10, 2025.

  • First-time participants in an APCE Annual Event
  • Small Churches
  • Regional and Ethnic diversity


Payment of the scholarship will be sent out after proof of registration to the event.

God of the Living

A weekend retreat for families and individuals from small churches in Mission Presbytery. This retreat is a collaboration between the Austin College ACtivators, the Mission Presbytery Connect Committee, and John Knox Ranch.


Where: John Knox Ranch. 1661 John Knox Rd. Fischer, TX 78623

When: February 27 - March 1, 2026

Who: For families and individuals from small churches (membership of 75 or less) who would love to have a church retreat, but would benefit from combining with members from other churches.

Cost: All inclusive pricing ranges from $75 per person to $175 per person depending on housing selection. Scholarships available!

Keynote: John Williams, Austin College Chaplain. “Being Presbyterian Right Here and Right Now”

Our annual Midwinter Youth Conference is now open for registration. To register your group, fill out the registration form and return it to Caitlin Supcoff (youth@missionpby.org) WITH payment!) by December 15.



The cost is $170 per person for dormitory housing and $200 per person for hotel-style housing.

Libby Janes Appointed New Director of the Synod Partnership for Disaster Recovery

After a thorough search process, the Leadership Team of the Synod Partnership for Disaster Recovery (SPDR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth "Libby" Janes as the new Director.


“She brings an excellent background in social work and a wide range of church experience,” said Synod Leader and Stated Clerk Mitch Miller, “but, more importantly, a servant’s heart and a clear demonstration of the love of Christ.”

JKR Weekly Maintenance Volunteer

Use your handy skills and make an impact. Meet new friends, learn new skills and be a part of a community. “Happy Campers” meet every Wednesday at 9am-noon at the JKR Barn. No RSVP necessary.
