I hope this abbreviated newsletter finds you recovering from Holy Week and Easter as well as living into the promise of Jesus's resurrection.
As many of you already know I was injured at Mid Winter Retreat at Black River on February 6th and have been out on medical leave. This week I returned to light duty and I am still figuring out what that means. I continue to appreciate your patience as I start returning emails. If you have an urgent need, please feel free to call me at 806-440-1791, mornings are best, and I will return your call as I am able.
I am slowly returning emails. I have worked up to being able to sit in a chair for 3 hours, which is an enormous improvement from weeks past. Thank you all for your prayers and get well wishes, I greatly appreciate the outpouring of support I received from so many of you.
Best Wishes,
Karakay

YOUNG ADULT MISSION CANCELLED
|
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the Young Adult Mission Trip to Ecuador. We did not have enough people wanting to attend to make the trip happen. Than you to those who helped get this event started. And to Danny at Bridging Cultures for helping us walk through this process. We hope to have some more interest in the future to make this trip a possibility.
Blessings,
Rev. Alex Smith

know that it is

We all struggle with many of the same problems in our congregations and we know the value of fellowship, Bible study, exploring our calling as leaders, hands-on mission, and having fun while doing all that.
