Pastor Dosseh Takpale gives praise to the Lord for intensive training for leaders taking place in Togo this past week. This session has been a precursor to the beginning of the missionary institute. Pastor Dosseh invites us to continue in prayer for the opening of the Wesley Missionary Institute at the beginning of 2021.
Free Methodist brothers and sisters in Asia praise the Lord and give thanks for those whose generosity has provided food during the pandemic. As Asian believers share with those in their communities, pray many who experience this tangible expression of God's love will desire to learn more about Him.

Praise the Lord for new believers and baptisms reported in several creative access countries. Pray for new gospel opportunities as some of these countries undergo a "second' wave of the virus.
Pray for the Mosaico Cultural Center in Spain as they begin a new social outreach into a neighboring slum area. Through sports and other educational programs, Mosaico teaches Christian principles and values to youth and children who live in La Cãnada Real. Click here to view a video about this ministry.
Please pray for two events for the Latin America area on Saturday, August 29. There will be an area-wide seminar for pastors and souses in the morning about maintaining healthy rhythms amid the pandemic. In the afternoon, there will be training for Pastoral Formation facilitators with two or three key facilitators from each country attending. Pray all those who participate in these events will be equipped and encouraged.

Although schools will continue to be closed until the end of the year, Dan and Hope Owsley will be teaching seminary classes online. Because the courses will be online for the first time, many more students from all over Brazil will be able to attend. Praise the Lord and pray for these students who are hungry to learn.
Give thanks and rejoice with two of our leaders in the Middle East. They recently welcomed baby boys into their families. Pastor R and his wife welcomed Kareem,
and Pastor B and his wife welcomed Harvey. Pray for parents, newborns, and the older sisters.

Please continue to pray for Weam, one of our leaders, who has been suffering from the coronavirus. He is some better but is still quite sick.
Pray for our missionary children as they return to school.
  • Those beginning or returning to college
  • Those transitioning to new schools
  • Those adjusting to online learning or homeschooling because of ongoing closures and restriction in their country
Pray they will sense the Father's presence and encouragement, establish healthy patterns and habits, and increase in both knowledge and wisdom.
Please be in prayer for ICCM ministries in Cambodia and one creative access country in Asia. There are new and increasing incidences of COVID cases near our ICCM House of Love in Cambodia. In Creative Access Country-I, cases of the virus are spreading to the outlying villages as people flee the city's densely populated areas. Ask the Father to give wisdom and good health to our leaders in these countries.

Thank you for praying for SEED to create opportunities for more large orders from companies and churches! SEED is now in the process of facilitating three new orders from two of our livelihood group partners. These bulk orders mean a
more sustainable livelihood for refugees and disabled individuals who are members of these groups. Please pray these larger orders will help group members recognize God’s care and provision for them.

The state of Ohio is ranked fifth among all U.S. states in total reported cases of human trafficking. Pray for the Set Free Movement team in Canfield, Ohio. The team there is reaching out to women who work in three different strip clubs. They regularly provide care by offering support and resources to these women. Ask the Lord to use this team to transform lives and offer a better future filled with the hope that comes through the gospel of Christ.
