The Free Methodist Church of Ivory Coast has submitted registration papers for national recognition as a church denomination in Ivory Coast. Please join our national leader, Maho, and the church in praying for God's favor and timely approval for the documentation.

FMWM thanks Gabe and Olivia Sevigny for their service as VISA missionaries in Rwanda. Gabe, a mechanical engineer, assisted with supervision and projects at the Kibogora guest house. Olivia served as a nurse at Kibogora hospital. Pray for them as they transition back to the U.S. and welcome their first child in early April.
Praise the Lord for hundreds of new believers recently baptized in Creative Access-BG. Pray they will all receive discipleship training and grow in their faith.

Hundreds of Cambodians heard about Jesus during Christmas outreach ministries. Pray the seeds planted will grow and develop into faith. Pray for the goal of the FM church in Cambodia – planting 21 new house churches in outlying provinces this year.
Pray for peace in Europe. Pray political leaders will unite to fight evil, injustice and disease. Pray our Free Methodist leaders in Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, UK and Ukraine will be people of peace and love in this time of crisis.

Please continue in prayer for Raúl Araña (Spain). He is now hospitalized with double pneumonia resulting from COVID. He is improving with treatment, but please pray for Raul and his family.

Superintendent Blagoi Dimitrov of the Balkans Annual Conference begins chemotherapy today for treatment of stomach cancer. We praise the Lord the doctors caught the cancer early and are very optimistic. Pray for Superintendent Blagoi's complete recovery.
Thad Roller and two Colombian pastors have an upcoming trip to Urabá, Colombia, to officially welcome churches in Urabá into the next phase of affiliation with the Free Methodist Church. Pray for this team as they train and equip leaders in ministerial formation.

There are many Latin American leaders currently battling COVID. Thankfully the cases are mild, but illness has upended many plans leaving some stranded outside their countries. Please pray for healing and an end to the disruptions associated with the pandemic. 
Pray for our leaders in the Middle East as they explain forgiveness to people who have suffered great loss and violence at the hands of other people. As people begin to trust in God, pray the Holy Spirit will give them the strength to forgive and free them to be all God intends them to be.
Pray for the family of missionary Debra Gilmore. Debra's mother, Beverly McLain Clesi, passed away on January 21. Beverly was a faithful follower of Christ who influenced the lives of many.
Praise the Lord for ICCM translators who have studied to learn a second language. They are diligent in translating letters and cards sent to the children from the sponsor and letters from the children to their sponsors.

The SEED team meets on Thursday, January 27, to finalize goals for 2022 and plan how to accomplish them. Ask God to give them discernment.

The United Nations reports around 84 million forcibly displaced people in the world. These refugees have a long list of vulnerabilities. Pray for their protection from traffickers. Pray the Lord will give us hearts of compassion and love for refugees living in our communities.

As the COVID situation fluctuates globally, pray for wisdom in planning for potential travel later in 2022.
