Romain, a leader from Ivory Coast and a graduate of the Wesley Missionary Institute in Togo, contracted typhoid fever and passed away on March 3. Please be in prayer for his family.

The FMC in Ethiopia will have a 25th Anniversary Celebration March 18 -21. The celebration will be held in conjunction with their annual conference. Rejoice with them and pray for God’s continued blessing as they share the good news of Jesus throughout Ethiopia.

The Free Methodist Church in Creative Access-HK will celebrate its 70th Anniversary on Saturday, March 17. Pray this will be a wonderful celebration of remembering all God has done and envisioning all God has yet to do in this place.

Missionary Seth Van Tifflin had knee surgery this past week. Pray for Seth and his family during his recovery process, which will take several weeks.

The situation in Creative Access-MR continues to grow more difficult. The military has begun conscripting young people. Pray for God's mercy and peace to come to this nation. Ask the Father to protect the youth and children.

Pray for missionary Erin Kingsley in her new role as Prayer Coordinator for Europe.

Though it is unimaginable, the crisis in Haiti has escalated. Most of the country is now under the control of gangs. Few people are going to church because of the dangers. Water is hard to find in the capital city because gangs even control the water. Schools in Port-au-Prince have not been in session for two weeks, and traveling out of the city in any direction is impossible. Church members have been scattered. Please pray urgently that God, in His great mercy, will intervene for this nation and its people.

MIDDLE EAST

Pray for the final days of the general conference in Egypt. Ask the Father to lead this general conference in unity and partnership with all God is doing in the Middle East.

FMWM gives thanks for the life and faithful service of former missionary Marjorie Folkestad, who passed away Monday, March 11. Marjorie and her husband, Robert, served in Mozambique (1973-1975) and South Africa (1975-1981). Please pray for the comfort of the Folkestad family.
