Please pray for the ongoing struggles and conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Special prayer is needed for more than 800 refugees now camped at the Linda Stryker Academy and the nearby Free Methodist church. Many fled after their homes were torched and farms destroyed. Fear, desperation and hunger are real. Students at the academy were stunned to see the great need of those seeking refuge and have compassionately shared what they have. Pray for God's mercy in this situation.
ASIA
The situation in Creative Access Country-MR remains dangerous. Food shortages are an ongoing concern. Pray for peace in this nation and God's provision for the needs of the people. Praise the Lord Superintendent "P" is slowly regaining strength. Please continue to pray for the complete healing of his lungs.

EUROPE
Thank you for your prayers for international missionary Michael Mendakoff(Russia). His health is greatly improved. If he has a second negative COVID test on Wednesday, he will be released from the hospital on Thursday.
Europe Area Director Josh Fajardo is pleased to announce the appointment of Raul and Abigail (Abi) Arãna-Santana as international missionaries to Spain. They have previously served for twenty years in the U.K./Northern Ireland Conference of the FMC. In January 2022, they will transition to serving in Spain. Raul will serve as lead pastor for the Light and Life Free Methodist Church and as national director in Spain. Abi will serve as administrative assistant to the Europe Area Director and assist in local ministries. Pray for this family in their upcoming transition.
LATIN AMERICA
The Nicaragua/El Salvador Mission District will meet virtually on October 23 for their annual meeting. Pray God will give wisdom to Pastora Jenny Orozco, who will be installed as the new mission district leader.
Pray for missionary Andrea Tinsley as she departs for the field on October 23. Ask the Father to strengthen her and give her insight as she adjusts to the language and culture in Colombia.
Pray for ongoing health concerns among many pastors in Latin America. Pray particularly for Pastora Glendys (Creative Access-X) and Pastor Ceferino (Paraguay). Both are recovering from recent surgery.
MIDDLE EAST
Join in praying for our workers in the Middle East and believers across the region by praying Romans 15:5-6. Pray the God who gives endurance and encouragement will give them the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so with one mind and one voice, they may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
INTERNATIONAL CHILD CARE MINISTRIES
Thank you for praying for Srey Nouch, an ICCM accountant in Cambodia. She was released from the hospital and is recovering from COVID. We praise the Lord for the report that mother and baby are doing well. The baby is due in four weeks. Continue to pray for the health of mother and baby and safe delivery.
The SEED Christmas catalog will be mailed this week. Pray people will remember Jesus was a refugee and have hearts open to support refugees and other marginalized people in SEED partner groups around the world.
Join the Set Free Movement in prayer as they partner with SEED and ICCM in the Wunders project. Wunders aims to fight against human trafficking by providing young girls with locally-made sustainable menstrual supplies. To read more, click here.
