Please pray for the Addis Ababa Free Methodist Church (Ethiopia). They must leave their property by government mandate but are negotiating a replacement property. Pray the Lord will touch the hearts of city leaders to grant the church a good and secure piece of property. Also, pray for the transition, including temporarily storing church furnishings and finding a temporary meeting space.

The cases of the Marburg virus in Rwanda have now increased to 46, with 12 deaths. Please pray the virus will be contained and not spread to rural areas. Pray for the staff at Kibogora Hospital as they continue to monitor the situation.

Late last week, Typhoon Krathon made landfall in Taiwan after impacting the northern Philippines. Pray for those who suffered loss and damage. Pray for sanitation teams as they clean up and the government officials working on recovery efforts. Pray churches will be a source of help and hope in their communities.

This past week, there has been unprecedented flooding in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Missionaries Thom and Sherry Cahill had to evacuate their apartment building by boat. Water in the Chiang Mai FMC has been chest- deep on the ground floor. Please pray for the recovery efforts and protection from water-borne illness as the waters recede and people begin cleaning up.

Raul Arana (Spain) is in the U.K. to attend an FMC leadership summit. Join him in praying for this time of learning, connection and engaging in God's work.

Missionaries Larry and Katie Winckles returned to Hungary the last week in September. Please pray for them as they readjust and resume ministry responsibilities.

Area Director Ricardo Gómez and international missionary Juan Carlos Rodriguez will travel to Creative Access Country-X soon. The church’s school there is developing healthy leaders for future generations of the church. Pray for this visit, the school, and Ivan, the newly elected superintendent.

Pray for the missionary team in Latin America. Several team members are facing health, financial and family challenges. Pray God will provide healing, wisdom, peace and resources.

MIDDLE EAST

Pray for the church in the Middle East as there is further escalation of conflict. Ask the Father to empower His church to speak peace, care for the marginalized and be a light in the darkness.
