AFRICA
Join the Free Methodist Church in Ivory Coast in praying for Brother Sekala, a new missionary they recently sent out to do church planting.
ASIA
Because of the recent monsoon flooding in Creative Access Country-PN, there has been tremendous devastation and suffering. Pray for ongoing relief efforts through our FM network.

Pray for new FM ministry developing on the Korean peninsula, particularly among new believers not currently associated with a larger church family.

Super Typhoon Noru hit the island of Luzon in the northern Philippines on Sunday. Pray for all those impacted and protection from further damage from landslides. Also, pray for Creative Access Country-VN. The storm is expected to intensify and make landfall there on Tuesday.
EUROPE
Free Methodist leaders from across Europe will gather in Budapest, Hungary, this week for meetings. Pray for God's direction, inspiration and renewal.

Please continue to pray for missionary Cathy Alford as she recovers from a recent cycling accident in Spain.
LATIN AMERICA
Pray for two special events in Latin America this coming weekend:
  • The virtual annual meeting of the Costa Rica mission district.
  • An online marriage seminar for all of Latin America led by Bishop Emeritus David Roller and his wife, Yvonne.

On Wednesday, September 28, new international missionaries Juan Carlos Rodriguez and his wife, Yaneth Aguirre will move to Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where their ministry will focus on developing healthy leaders in Bolivia and Paraguay. Pastor Juan Carlos will continue to serve as a mentor for Guatemala, the Occidente Mission District, Bolivia and Paraguay. Pastora Yaneth will also be working with the empowering transformational churches team. Pray for God's blessing on their travels, transition and ministry.
MIDDLE EAST
Pray for leaders under immense religious persecution. Pray that legal avenues will be effective in combating this persecution. One of our churches has been shut down, and leaders have had to take necessary steps for personal protection.
FMWM FAMILY
Pray for two members of our FMWM family who lost loved ones this past week:
  • Asia missionary Virginia lost her father, John Simpson
  • Jonathan Eccles (FMWM Ministry Deployment Coordinator) lost his grandfather, Dean Eccles
INTERNATIONAL CHILD CARE MINISTRIES
Please continue to join us in praying for the ICCM children in Haiti. Because of the current situation, the start of the new school year has been delayed in Haiti. Classes could resume as early as next week, but that seems unlikely in light of the current situation.
SET FREE MOVEMENT

VISA MINISTRIES
Please pray for two individuals traveling to Africa to teach:
  • Kim Martin will teach at the Bible school in Malawi from September 30 to October 30.
  • Larry Johnson travels to Togo to teach at the Wesley Missionary Institute from September 30 to October 17.
