Continue in prayer for the situation in Liberia involving the killing of a young 25- year-old man. The investigation by authorities is ongoing, and villagers remain fearful. Superintendent Rufus Kahn visited this area a few days ago. Pray for:

  • the perpetrators to be brought to justice
  • peace and hope for those in the community
  • gospel opportunities amid the fear and confusion
Free Methodist World Missions is pleased to introduce our newest members of the Asia Team, Dr. Thom and Dr. Sherry Cahill. The Cahills will concentrate on leadership development. They bring a wealth of experience from their years in pastoral ministry in the U.S. and pastoral training ministry in Africa. The Cahills will relocate to Chiang Mai, Thailand, in early 2022 (once travel restrictions in Asia are lifted). In the meantime, they will begin working from the U.S.

One of our pastors in Creative Access-NP recently passed away suddenly from a stroke. Pray for his wife, children, and the church congregation.

Europe Area Director Josh Fajardo seems to be turning a corner in his fight with COVID-19, but he still has a nagging and persistent cough. Please continue to pray for his complete recovery.
Pray for Pastor Henry Riquelme and his team as they minister to the children and their families after the school was burned down last week. Our FMC in the rural community of Millalen, Chile, is offering the church building for use as a school during the week so Mapuche children can finish the last two months of their school year. Praise the Lord for this beautiful opportunity to show God’s love to the community! Continue to pray for:
  • the protection of the FM church and members in Millalen
  • God’s comfort and peace for the children
  • an end to the destructiveness
  • Christ’s transforming presence in this community
  • the peace of Christ to reign in this nation

Join us in giving praise to God for the recent Bible camps and Vacation Bible School in Burundi. An estimated 59,500 youth from across the country attended these events. Approximately 14,000 made personal commitments to Christ. Many ICCM children were among the attendees. Pray for the continued discipleship of those young people who committed their lives to Christ.

As churches begin observing Freedom Sunday, pray the joint SEED and Set Free virtual events will help connect people to the realities of human trafficking and ways individuals and local churches can help fight against it.

MyPlace, one of the featured Freedom Sunday organizations, is on a mission to provide a home for young people who may lack a safe, stable home. Pray for MyPlace as they work to prevent human trafficking among vulnerable youth in the Jackson, Michigan, area.
