I wanted to give you a "heads-up" about what we are doing for the month of March. We are working together with other United Methodist churches in our area to support a mission of The Park UMC as Zoar called Tabitha's Closet, which is in Maineville. This is a mission that they run for low-income people all throughout their area. They provide clothing, hygiene products, and a meal for all who come through their ministry.
There are 2 things that you can do!
1) We are going to collect clothing donations. So, do your Spring cleaning and bring any donations you may have up to the church. They take everything from infant to adult clothing. Also, if you want to donate any hygiene products, they will also take that. You can go ahead and bring your donations here by Wednesday, March 13. Put your donations in the coat closet in the foyer.
2) On Saturday, March 16, from 8 am to 1:30 pm, we will serve at Tabitha's Closet. There will be many opportunities to help. All are welcome to participate for as long as you are able. We will be serving along with other United Methodist churches, strengthening our connections with each other. A sign-up will be available soon in March as we get closer to the event.
