The Missouri House of Representatives:
HB 121 (Floor Vote) – Third Read and Passed by the House and Sent to the Senate - Will establish the "Safe Place for Newborns Fund" for the installation of newborn safety incubators for a relinquishing parent to leave a newborn baby, up to 90 days of life, without fear of prosecution and would create a “Safe Place for Newborn’s Fund” for the State of Missouri to match up to $10,000 for the cost to install an incubator in your area.

HCS HB 195 & 1119 (Committee Vote) - The House Rules Committee on Legislation voted “Do Pass” - The “Born Alive Abortion Survivor’s Protection Act” to protect babies born alive after an abortion.

The Missouri Senate Families, Seniors and Health Committee voted “Do Pass” on the following 2 bills this week:
SCS SJR 33 (Committee Vote) – Joint Resolution to Place language on the Ballot for Missouri Voters to Repeal and Replace Amendment 3.

SJR 8 (Committee Vote) – Joint Resolution to clarify that every person has a unique set of DNA and deserve equal protection under the law.

Missouri Right to Life supported both Resolutions.
