MRL Commends the Work of the

Knights of Columbus

Missouri Right to Life joins with NRLC and Pope Leo in commending the pro-life work of the Knights of Columbus. During our 52-year history, Missouri Right to Life has worked closely with the Missouri Knights of Columbus.

They have supported our pro-life legislative and veto override efforts, helping bring thousands of pro-life Missourians to our state capitol. They have aided vulnerable Missouri women through their support of pregnancy help centers throughout the state with purchases of many ultrasound machines. They offer services every year for the Midwest March for Life, providing honor guards and food and refreshments for pro-life marchers.

As with all of our grassroots supporters, Missouri Right to Life could not do our life-saving work without the Knights of Columbus. We look forward to working with them next year as we restore protection for Missouri preborn babies, children and women.

Missouri General Assembly passes HJR 73 to place a

measure to reestablish protection for Missouri women,

children, and preborn babies on the 2026 November ballot

“Right now, there are two competing realities that exist in our state,” said Susan Klein. “Number 1, we now have zero protections for innocent unborn human life in our pro-life state. And, number 2, the people of Missouri have said they are not comfortable with a 100% ban on abortion and they want some exceptions.”

During the legislative session when the language was being crafted, Missouri Right to Life commissioned and funded two polls that show Missouri voters will vote ‘yes’ on the ballot language of HJR 73. That means we are facing the current reality head on.
