Wheatley Named First Missouri WSSA Rep
Moniteau County Sheriff Tony Wheatley is Missouri's first representative for an organization connecting sheriffs from 17 other states. Missouri sheriffs unanimously chose Wheatley on March 8 to be the state's first representative on the Western States Sheriffs' Association (WSSA) Board of Directors. In the role, he will be working with sheriffs from 17 other states in the organization – Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming – to address concerns affecting those states.
