Spirit of Stewardship Webinar
June 30, 2020
1:00 pm
Sponsored by Heartland, Northern Kansas, Missouri Union and John Calvin Presbyteries and the Synod of Mid-America

We invite all to attend this regional stewardship webinar seeking to nurture, educate, and inspire faithful financial discipleship and promote meaningful holistic approaches to stewardship in this COVID-19 time we are living.

On June 30, Rosemary Mitchell, Director for Mission Engagement and Support for the PC(USA), will present The Fullness of God's Grace: Repentance and Thanksgiving.

We are living in history. What is our context for thanksgiving and praise? This season is more than challenging. But, we are not alone. We worship as a community of faith. We are God's household. This webinar will look at foundational images of the Body of Christ. We will use those images to formulate how we structure and create our thanksgiving and what we do and say when we are at a loss for words.
We Want to Hear About What Your Church is Doing!
During our August presbytery meeting we’d like to highlight new and continued outreach ministry that many of our churches have been engaged in since the onset of this pandemic in a special PowerPoint presentation.
Please share your stories and pictures, if you have any, of outreach ministries and local missions your church is currently engaged in.

The cutoff date for this project is Saturday, August 1 st. All information can be sent to me directly. Thank you.

Fall Bible Study for Presbytery Women
Presbyterian Women invite all to participate in this Fall's Bible Study,  Into the Light: Finding Hope in Prayers of Lament .  Even though PW selected this topic to be developed into the 2020-2021 Bible Study several years ago, it now seems especially appropriate in these times.

Find out more about the Bible study and purchase copies at  https://www.presbyterianwomen.org/current-bible-study/ .  Using this Bible Study across our churches offers another way for us to all be “together” even as we are physically distanced.
