Three Year Anniversary at Nulla
Misty Mountain celebrates an anniversary!

September marks three years since our move from the Old Misty Mountain at Five Day Creek to our current location at Nulla Nulla Creek.

We have seen the average number of guests nearly double in that time, and are always delighted to get so much feedback on the health improvement of our guests.

Barbara lectures on YouTube have over 1,000,000 views and we see visitors from all over the world. They come to experience first-hand the education and healing at Misty Mountain.

We wish you all the best and hope to see you soon here at Misty Mountain!

Many Blessings,

.

Ellmoos Family Shares Their Triumph

Ellyce, Kai, & Jonas

Another success story from Misty Mountain was recently shared with us. It's moments like these that we are reminded of the capacity of our work here.

Dear Barbara and Michael,

We can't believe it has been over a year since we spent a week at Misty Mountain Health Retreat.

After years of suffering with endometriosis and ovarian cysts, multiple surgeries and desperately wanting to start a family with no success, we were told about Misty Mountain.

Barbara, you were so encouraging, knowledgeable and the health plan you put us both on gave us so much hope. Your staff was amazing and we had the most wonderful week.

Almost one year later exactly on July 1, we had our beautiful baby boy, Jonas.

We don't think you and Michael will ever know just what you did for us, we both feel the advice and personalised treatment you gave to each of us made all the difference.

Thank you!
Love,

Ellyce and Kai Ellmoos

Ask Barbara

Q. What can I do to relieve chronic back pain?
Aaron - QLD

Barbara
A. The cause must always be ascertained. Dehydration, poor posture, core muscular weakness and injury are among the most common causes.

Two litres of water a day needs to be consumed to replace the continual water loss that is a natural part of body functions. This water is best utilized when it is taken in little by little over the day between meals. 75% of upper body weight is held by water in the lower back. A little Celtic salt taken with the water three times a day aids in effective hydration.

Pilates type exercises strengthen the core muscles in the abdomen which all connect to the spine. Strengthening the abdominal muscles strengthens the spine, thus improving posture and relieving pain.

Osteopaths are trained in bone, muscle, tendon and ligaments and thus work with all of these to remedy back problems. It is a good idea to have the spine checked and to receive instruction on simple exercises to help manage any back problems.
