JUNE 2021
The Mitcham Library Service is continuing to operate due to COVID-19 in a safe manner.

We monitor and review the situation and provide regular updates on our social media channels and website.
KEEPING EVERYONE SAFE IN 2021
Most services have now resumed although there may be some changes to ensure we follow protocols with added COVID-19 safe precautions.

Please contact the libraries if you have questions about specific programmes.
PUBLIC HOLIDAY CLOSURE
The Mitcham Memorial Library and Blackwood Library will be closed on Monday 14 June for the Queen's Birthday public holiday.

The after hours returns chutes will be open. When full they will automatically close off. Please do not leave items outside the library as you will remain responsible for these items.
LIBRARY DOLLARS MAKE SENSE
The Local Government Association is calling for State Government funding for council libraries to be maintained.

You can help by emailing or writing to your local MP to let them know that library dollars make sense.

Click here to email your local MP or ask library staff for a hard copy letter to sign.
You can view the email/letter here.
