The Mitchell College of Business is excited to introduce the newest cohort in the PhD in Business Administration program. This year's cohort consists of 20 students from six different states and 3 different countries.

Alumni Spotlight: Bill Stejskal
Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Bill Stejskal grew up surrounded by baseball. Knowing he wanted to continue his baseball career, he headed South. Stejskal said he was drawn to South for several reasons including, “the opportunity to play for Eddie Stanky in one of the top collegiate baseball programs in the nation.


2019 Faculty and Staff Awards
Dr. Joe Hair, Director of the PhD Program and Cleverdon Chair of Business, received the Frank R. Urbancic Faculty Fellow Award. Immediately prior to joining the University of South Alabama Joe was the Founder and Director of the Kennesaw State University DBA program. Before KSU he was on the faculty of the Ourso College of Business Administration,

What a great first Month at the Mitchell College of Business! It started off right with the family picnic, convocation, and ice cream social for new students. And to top it off, we also had doughnuts with the dean during the first few days to welcome everyone back to start a new school year.
