Contemporary shutter detail symbolizing tribal unity, Congolese design.

Painted on weathered window shutters, an age-old message emerges. Emanating from a row of diamond shapes, black and white ribbons create a mosaic in the center. Each diamond represents a tribal community or individual, each ribbon a path of transformational experiences as they intersect in the circle of eternity. After entering the mosaic, each individual or tribe returns to its path enlightened by the involvement. As a graphic design, it symbolizes sacred tribal unity for all mankind.
