After shuttering for nearly all of 2020, The Museum of Ancient Wonders is proud and excited to announce reopening beginning on Wednesday, March 17.
From the treasures of Tutankhamun to African masks of antiquity; from dinosaurs to human origins, MoAW offers more than 200 replicas of famous archaeological treasures from Egypt, Africa, and Greece along with laboratory cast specimens of important fossil discoveries from around the world.
Having traveled to approximately 50 museum destinations throughout the U.S., Canada, Taiwan, and Puerto Rico, these revered collections have been seen by millions of people in the last 21 years. Opened briefly at the end of 2019, and shuttered during the COVID-19 pandemic, MoAW is the Coachella Valley's newest and most diverse museum venue, currently located in Cathedral City in the Greater Palm Springs area.
Within Cathedral City's Arts and Entertainment Districts at 69028-B East Palm Canyon Drive, HWY 111 at Date Palm Drive, next to Big Lots in Cathedral Gateway Plaza, MoAW is a magic portal in the worlds of ancient civilization and prehistoric life.
Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
Admission is $15.00 per adult, $12.00 for seniors, students, and military. Group rates are available and scheduled by inquiry.
All COVID-19 State mandates remain in place and include masks, social distancing, temperature checks, and limited capacity to assure a safe and comfortable environment.
