Born and raised in Germany. Originally obtained a nursing degree and worked at “Grosshadern” an Class 1 Trauma Center in ER for several years. Started over with Agricultural Engineering and received a MS from the College of Agriculture at the Technical University in Munich, Germany.

I have been living in the US for a little over 27 years now and married. I worked in facilities management for the past 10+ years. My most recent position was with Sodexo at Alaska Airlines as the Commercial Facilities Operations Manager for Alaska Airlines’ commercial properties across 140 Airports in the lower 48 US, PR, MX, and HI.

I started at MoPOP in November of 2018 and have already implemented several FM practices that were not fully established or effective for an operation of this size. I am working closely with the Director of Museum Operations to improve the public appearance and sustainability of the museum. Activities include “Front of House” and “Back of House” improvements.

Currently I am investigating opportunities to increase our sustainability.
Possible options are rain water collection, wind energy generation and storage.

In my free time I enjoy being part of a Bavarian Folk Dance Club (Enzian Schuhplattler) in Seattle and playing the Alphorn.
