MAEF's "Mobile Lab in a Box"!
Until our Mobile Science Labs can safely visit schools again, enhance your classroom content with this fully-stocked, hands-on lesson kit! Connect curriculum concepts to everyday life on the farm, careers in agriculture, & Maryland-raised products.
Boxes are available in either
Primary (K-2)
or Intermediate (3-5)
options with lesson activities aligned to their grade band. The primary activities may be adjusted by the classroom teacher to PreK.

"Mobile Lab in a Box" is $35 per box and contains:
1 read aloud book, My Family's Soybean Farm (brand new 2021 book from Feeding Minds Press!)
1 accompanying Educator's Guide
Lesson plan with multiple soybean-themed activities
Lesson plan manipulatives
Student "seed germination necklace" materials (with enough for 30 students)
Packaging & shipping
Crates are assembled & shipped in early May for flexible use in your classroom.
