Mobility Management News: November 2019
|
|
Hello Everyone,
My name is Will Reckley, and I am delighted to send out the November Newsletter and introduce myself as NCMM’s newest staff member. This is my second week at NCMM, and I have enjoyed getting caught up on all of the fascinating projects NCMM and our partners are working on. I come from a real estate and land use background, but my passions lie in the connections between those topics, transportation, and equity. I am very excited to already be writing blog posts on some of my favorite topics, and connecting with all of you on the exciting projects at NCMM. As always, NCMM welcomes our mobility management readers to take this opportunity to consider writing a blog entry or suggest content so we can feature the good work you are doing. I’ve included my contact information below, so please feel free to reach out.

Note from NCMM Director, Amy Conrick:
As the former NCMM newsletter editor Sheryl Gross-Glaser noted in September, she has moved on to a different position (but still at CTAA) as the director of the recently established National Center on Applied Transit Technology. Following in the vein of Sheryl's excellent editorial leadership for the past 6 years, NCMM's newsletter will be continuing, but in a new format. We will continue to bring you news about NCMM's activities and resources, as well as grants, opportunities, and relevant resources from other sources. Coverage on rising issues and trends in our industry, however, will now be delivered through
NCMM's blog, Mobility Lines, including the monthly Technology Updates provided by
NCMM's technologist, Kevin Chambers at Full Path. Each newsletter will provide a digest of the month's blog posts. In addition, each blog entry will be key-word searchable through our website, so you can access the information you need when you need it.
As Will noted above, we are always happy to feature blog entries written by you and your peers. Please send those to wilhelm@ctaa.org (another new NCMM staff person you will soon be meeting!). And let us know what you think about this new format! Best wishes, Amy
