BTACTICAL TEDDER UPDATE
Over 80 volunteers of all ages came out in support of the project to help paint the roadway during the 4-day installation held December 8-11, 2021 in the City of Deerfield Beach. The primary components of the quick-build project are intersection improvements, wayfinding and informational signage, traffic calming features, crosswalks with decorative surface treatments and upgrading the existing bike lanes to protected bike lanes. The project is reversible and adjustable according to the needs of the community. Pedestrian and bicyclist counts are being counted during this time to evaluate the use of the corridor, as well as speed data.
CALL FOR STUDIES
How does transportation improve? It starts with a plan! The Broward MPO is seeking input for the Unified Planning Work
Program (UPWP). Every two years, the MPO updates the UPWP, and this business plan (with associated budget) sets the framework for transportation plans and studies. What are your ideas? Your contributions could potentially be addressed in future transportation planning studies. Submit your ideas by Friday, February 11.

This public meeting will be conducted on Saturday, February 12, at the ArtServe Gallery at 4:00 p.m., all community members are welcome to participate in this unique opportunity to help the City transform NE 15th Avenue into a better street for everyone.
