Do you live, work, or play in Plantation? We want to hear from you! Share your experience and ideas about driving, walking, biking, and accessing public transit in the area to help us increase connectivity! Join us tonight, March 21, at 6:00 p.m. for a virtual community meeting to learn about Plantation's Multimodal Master Transportation Plan (MMTP).

Our partner at FDOT District 4 is hosting their annual Love to Ride Bike Challenge in celebration of Florida Bike Month. The challenge is a fun, free competition between workplaces to see who can earn the most points for riding and encouraging others during March. It’s not all about who can ride the most miles, but about encouraging as many people as possible to enjoy riding their bike for health, happiness, and fun.

We’ve all seen those thin orange poles on the I-95, near intersections, and at transit stations, but did you know they’re called traffic delineators? Traffic delineators guide foot and vehicle traffic in intersections, roadways, parking lots, and other spaces around businesses. They have bright colors or reflective sheeting to help ensure visibility. They warn, guide, and set specific boundaries for pedestrians and vehicle traffic.

As early as Thursday, March 24, you may see newly added traffic delineators along NE 12th street as we prepare for the upcoming BTactical installation in May. These delineators will test out the projected traffic flow.
Join us and our partner the City of Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, April 2 at 10:00 a.m. for a BTactical Lake Ridge Workshop! We will discuss the final design, art theme options, and volunteer opportunities for the quick build project.

The workshop will take place at the ArtServe Art Gallery! All community members are welcome to participate in this unique opportunity. Be a part of the transformation; register today!
Join us Tuesday, April 5, at 2:00 p.m. for the Broward Ciclovia Planning Committee meeting. This committee is an inter-agency coordination and partnership that will help us plan a successful Ciclovia event! This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. If you would like to participate and help make this event a reality, be sure to attend. Please feel free to extend this invitation to anyone you would like to join us.

It's that time of year again! Our partner Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO)’s National Scholarship Program is accepting applications! This annual scholarship awards multiple national academic scholarships, ranging from $500 to $6,000 each to minority graduate and undergraduate students from across the country. Scholarship awardees are represented in all academic backgrounds and pursuing various careers in the transportation industry. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 15!
