BROWARD CICLOVIA PLANNING COMMITTEE
Join us tomorrow, March 8, at 2:00 p.m. for the first Broward Ciclovia Planning Committee meeting. This is the start of inter-agency coordination and partnerships that will help us plan a successful Ciclovia event this year! This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. If you would like to participate and help make this event a reality, be sure to attend. Please feel free to extend this invitation to anyone you would like to join us.
MTP AMENDMENTS
We want to hear from you! The Broward MPO is inviting the public to review and make verbal comments on proposed amendments to the 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan. The next public meeting to give your input will be held in the Broward MPO Board Room on Thursday, March 10, at 9:30 a.m.
REC SET GO!
On your marks, Rec Set Go! Join us Saturday, March 12, from 10:00 a.m. - noon at Spring Valley Park for a family bike ride. Our partner, the City of Pembroke Pines, is hosting a family Bike Rodeo to celebrate Florida Bike Month. There will be food, music, giveaways, and fun for the entire family! We hope to see you there.
LOVE TO RIDE CHALLENGE

Our partner at FDOT District 4 is hosting their annual Love to Ride Bike Challenge in celebration of Florida Bike Month. The challenge is a fun, free competition between workplaces to see who can earn the most points for riding and encouraging others during March. It’s not all about who can ride the most miles, but about encouraging as many people as possible to enjoy riding their bike for health, happiness, and fun.
BTACTICAL WORKSHOP
Join us and our partner the City of Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, April 2 at 9:30 a.m. for a BTactical Lake Ridge Workshop! We will discuss the final design, art theme options, and volunteer opportunities for the quick build project.

The workshop will take place at the ArtServe Art Gallery! All community members are welcome to participate in this unique opportunity. Be a part of the transformation; register today!
OVERNIGHT ROAD CLOSURE

Our partner, FDOT District 4, informs the public that 1-95 northbound lanes at Sunrise Boulevard will be closed to traffic overnight tonight, March 7, for overhead sign structure installation. The first lane will close at 9: 00 p.m., the second lane will close at 10: 00 p.m., and all lanes will be closed by 11:30 p.m., reopening by 5:30 a.m. tomorrow. Expect delays, as traffic will be detoured via Sunrise Boulevard, Powerline Road, and Oakland Park Boulevard. Florida Highway Patrol will be onsite to assist motorists. Tuesday, March 8, will be a contingency night if needed.
