Mobilizing for Grade Level Reading!

January ended with a surprise pop-up laundry event for Charlotte County residents. We are thankful to The Patterson Foundation for providing FREE access to laundry services for 46 families at SuperMatt on Tamiami Trail. In addition to 468 loads of laundry, snacks, books and other resources were on hand including celebrity readers for the kids!

Then February began with so many volunteers mobilizing to providing Readiness Bags for kindergarten students. This popular event distributes bags to Early Learning Centers and Charlotte County Public Schools by the generosity of Suncoast Campaign for Grade Level Reading and The Patterson Foundation.
