Ready for the weekend Megan?

Tuesday, March 5. Living the SoCal dream when your high school sport takes you to the beach. Islander girls varsity beach volleyball plays again today.

So much goodness! As we mentioned Tuesday, the Fix It Clinic with associated clothing & plant swap and garden tool sharpening should be on everyone's calendar. And that would be after you take part in Coronado PAWS Ruff Run (or walk and enjoy all the pups). Cap off your Saturday with the Coronado Philharmonia & Choir. It's opening weekend for Coronado Playhouse's annual free classic where you can take in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" for free. There are over a dozen more events highlighted in today's newsletter as well - never a lack of things to do or learn about in Coronado.

Make time to read our interview with Retired Navy SEAL Moki Martin. We've also got details on the port's 30-year waterfront plan which does not plan for more hotel rooms in Coronado, and zones the north end of Grand Caribe Isle as recreational open space.

These articles and many more, as well as the long list of events, can be found below. The links will take you to The Coronado Times for event details and full articles. Visit us online anytime to see the latest local news as it gets published.
