What to Expect

The Mole Mobile is a specially designed vehicle equipped with two private exam rooms. During your skin exam on the Mole Mobile, you will experience the following:

• You will be given a short form to fill out while waiting for your turn.
• The Dermatologist will take you to an exam room to check any moles or lesions of concern.
• The Dermatologist will record their findings and recommendations on your form.

The exam usually takes about 15 minutes. Please note, this is a preliminary screening only and does not replace a full examination by a Dermatologist. It helps determine if further examination is needed.

Why is this so important? Over 89,000 Canadians will be diagnosed with melanoma and skin cancer each year, and over 1,300 Canadians will die from melanoma. The Mole Mobile is here to ensure we lower these numbers and bring us one step closer to our vision of zero melanoma and skin cancer related deaths.

But we're not done yet! This summer, we plan to perform screenings until November in Ontario.
