Project Spotlight

Donate to support new Farmers Markets in Guadalupe

On behalf of the Cosecha Guadalupe Farmers Market Committee, with the support of the Guadalupe Business Association (GBA), we invite you to support the establishment of a farmers market that the City of Guadalupe truly needs and deserves.

Guadalupe and North Santa Barbara County are deeply agricultural yet face high rates of food insecurity. Many families rely on CalFresh benefits, and currently, local farmers’ markets do not accept EBT or Market Match programs. Cosecha Guadalupe Farmers Market was created to expand access to fresh, locally grown food while supporting farmers and small businesses.

We are seeking to raise $30,000 to cover start-up costs for the first two years. Funding will support permit and filing fees, staffing, and other essential start-up expenses to ensure a successful market launch. We respectfully ask that you help us get one step closer to opening Cosecha Guadalupe Farmers Market by contributing to this community-changing initiative. Sponsorship levels and recognition opportunities are outlined in the attached flyer.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to invest in the health and vitality of our community. For more information please call Stephanie at #805-714-5798
