Moms Adopting Moms

A Word from Our Co Founder

August is here, bringing with it the scent of freshly sharpened pencils, the squeak of new sneakers, and the hum of another school year beginning. The long, unhurried days of summer are giving way to early mornings, packed lunches, and busy evenings. For some of us, this means jumping into carpool lines, sports practices, after-school activities, homework, bathtime, and dinner. For others, it's a season of preparing, praying, and holding onto the hope of sharing those routines with your child again soon.

Wherever you are on your journey, you are part of this season in a meaningful way. We know the hustle of life doesn't stop — work, visits, court dates, appointments, responsibilities can feel overwhelming. But through it all, we see you showing up with love, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to your children's future. That commitment matters more than any schedule.

Let's remember, even in the busyness, to pause and savor the little moments a smile at the dinner table, a shared laugh during a visit, a quick hug after a long day, a proud cheer from the sidelines, a phone call that brings a smile, or a bedtime story to close out the day. These are the moments that shape our families and remind us why we keep going. Each step forward no matter how small is worth celebrating.

As we step into this new school year, let's continue to lean on each other, lift one another up, share in the victories, and stand together in the challenges. Whether you're navigating new routines at home or working tirelessly toward that day, we are with you every step of the way. Together, we can make this season not just about the hustle, but about connection, growth, and joy.

With love and gratitude,

The Moms Adopting Moms Team

Here's to new seasons, sharpened pencils, cheering crowds, steadfast hope, and families growing stronger together.

Thank You, The Five Hive! 🐝💛

We are so grateful to The Five Hive, one of our wonderful partners, for their generous donation of 48 brand-new book bags! These backpacks were distributed to the children of parents in our program and to families we’ve supported with school supplies.

A huge shoutout also goes to the Stewart Community Church Youth Group and Kids Zone for stuffing every backpack full of supplies with love and care. Your kindness is helping our kids head back to school prepared, confident, and excited for the year ahead. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in our community!

🌟 Monthly Testimonial: Ashley’s Story 🌟

Ashley has fought fiercely to complete her case plan and, last month, she was reunited with all five of her children. As if that wasn’t enough joy for one season, she and her husband also welcomed a new baby boy into their family August 1st!

“Moms Adopting Moms has helped me so much, offering emotional support, encouragement, and guidance through the transition of reunifying with my five children. They’ve also shown so much love and support as I have welcomed my newest baby boy! I’m so grateful.” —Ashley

Ashley’s journey hasn’t been easy. For years, she was caught in a toxic relationship filled with abuse and addiction. She lost custody of her children and felt completely lost. When her former partner went to jail, Ashley made a life-changing decision—she got clean, turned back to her faith, and rediscovered her purpose.

In time, she met her husband—a godly man who loves her and her children deeply. Together, they attend church every Sunday, are active in small groups, and now, as a family of eight, are building a life full of love, stability, and hope.

We celebrate Ashley’s strength, perseverance, and the beautiful new chapter she’s writing for herself and her family.
