Dear friend in Christ,

Gratitude transforms fear!

That's the sentiment behind the sisters' 2020 endeavors to make sure that the many people who connect with and support us know that we are truly grateful for their kindness, generosity and care.

Unfortunately, we've had to make the hard decision that it simply wouldn't be safe to hold our annual Gratitude Day celebration in August. Just because we can't all be together in person to say "thank you" doesn't mean that the sisters are any less grateful; right now we're busy thinking of creative ways to express our gratitude. We've already started by publishing a picture and short profile of previous Mother Benedicta Riepp Award winners on our Facebook page. The dedicated service each one of these women has given reminds us to be grateful that there are people like them in the world.

Focusing on gratitude is truly a way to help manage the fear and uncertainty that the coronavirus has caused. As we share more gratitude moments in the next few weeks, we hope that they will inspire you to become more deeply aware of the the things in life for which you are grateful. May that gratitude transform your fears!

With deepest gratitude for you,
