Moncrief Road Corridor Study

The North Florida TPO just completed the Moncrief Road Corridor Study. The corridor extends from 13th Street on the south to US 1/New Kings Road on the north.

The study looked at existing access management issues and identified strategies to improve the corridor safety and performance for all users – pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and drivers.

Finally, the report includes a list of specific recommendations, cost estimates and next steps.

Last Call for TIP Comments

Final Comments on the 2025/26 - 2029/30 Transportation Improvement Program are due by June 2.

Learn more about the TIP, submit comments in our survey and watch our virtual meeting videos highlighting key projects.

Planning for future transportation needs requires specialized software and technical skills to model future outcomes based on various inputs. The North Florida TPO uses a four-step travel demand forecasting model called the Northeast Regional Planning Model (NERPM).

The model inputs include projected growth, land uses, travel choices and behaviors to predict travel up to the year 2050.

Thanks to all who attended our virtual NERPM training. Please visit our Wiki page for all things NERPM 2020.
