A BAPTISM OF POWER

Six days before the Mount of Transfiguration event, Jesus spoke to a crowd of people saying in Mark 9:1, “Verily (truly) I say unto you, that there (will) be some of them that stand here (with you), which shall not taste death, ‘til they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.”
Jesus had already preached that the Kingdom of God had arrived. It came through Him, His incarnation, and the soon coming death and resurrection. But what was this mention of power?
He predicted that power for the believers, followers, and participants of the Kingdom of heaven would be given a few days after His ascension back to heaven. They were told to go to Jerusalem and wait for it to take place. It would take place on Pentecost.
Jesus’ final words to about four hundred followers just before his ascension were spoken in Acts 1:8, “…ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” Acts 2:4 fulfilled that promise where it said, “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues (languages they had never learned), as the (Holy) Spirit gave them utterance (the ability to speak those languages).”
This came upon them with a unique manifestation of “…tongues of fire…” (vs. 3) upon their heads. This is what we call “the baptism of the Holy Ghost.”
They had already received the indwelling of the Holy Ghost [salvation] when Jesus breathed on them in John 20:22. This was their first work of grace.
The second work of grace was given at Pentecost to give them the power to do all the works that Jesus had done as he had promised in John 14:12-14. This was a baptism of power which was given after being baptized into the body of Christ at salvation.
This baptism of power is still available to all believers who desire it and ask earnestly for it. (Acts 2:39.)

THE SEED
PART 1
Everything starts with a seed. Even a human baby starts from a seed planted in its mother’s womb.
Genesis 1:11 tells us, “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.”
Seed planting is necessary in order to bring forth more fruit. This is true whether it is a plant, an animal, or mankind.
In Genesis 3 we see the story of the serpent enticing Eve to eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. She was warned not to eat of the fruit of this tree but was deceived and fell for Satan’s trap and ate it. Up to that time Adam and Eve were sinless and covered with the glory of God. The minute they ate the fruit; the seed of that fruit caused them to hide from God.
God gave Adam a chance to repent, but he played the blame game and ultimately blamed God for his sin. [Genesis 3:12.]
God spoke to the serpent in verse 15. God said, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between THY SEED and HER SEED; it [the woman’s seed] shall bruise thy head [the serpent’s head], and thou [the serpent] shall bruise his [the seed of the woman] heel.”
You see, the battle began with these two seeds. The seed of the woman would bring forth the Messiah through God’s covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, later known as Israel. The seed of the serpent would go after the seed of the woman to destroy it to keep Messiah from bringing salvation to mankind.
Tomorrow we will learn more how Satan has used his seed to “steal, kill, and destroy” [John 10:10] down through the ages.

PROPHETIC WORD
AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS

Do not be deceived! God will not be mocked. He has the final word and all that receive him not will be judged. This is the hour of shaking and quaking. There will be many things hidden that will be exposed, and there will be things unearthed that will bring great fear for those that are not walking in my full armor. For in the days ahead, have I not said that they would be as in the days of Noah? Those days were the days that men had evil thoughts continually. It is not a surprise that this is that day, because I have revealed it, and I have warned you that those days were coming.
You will not find shelter in any other place than in me for your anchor and hope. Turn aside from all darkness and be cleansed from your disobedience and rebellion. For things are going to change rapidly for those that are not listening. Those that would not listen when the warning has been sounded will surely feel the full effects of what is to come. There will be no place to hide, for even the rocks and caves cannot protect them from exposure.
There is a price to pay for total obedience my children. It may mean leaving behind those that you love, yet are not of me. It is a time of isolation and purification. For I give shelter to those that walk in my light, but those that refuse my light will see a darkness like they have never seen before. Just like Goshen had light while the rest of Egypt was dark, there is coming a darkness that cannot be stopped. Walk in my light and you will be able to stand during this time. Do not fear, for fear will breed more darkness. Shake off all fear and walk in my ways. I am bringing my body together, for it must happen before my return. You will see things change within the body of Christ like never before. There will be a joining together just as the dry bones were brought together and lived. Many that have been longing to see change shall see it with their eyes. There is a separation coming that will define those that are truly mine, and those that have said it in word only. Stand strong children, for these days are at hand saith the Lord.

When we say God has forgotten about me; remember God knows everything and He never forgets. This scripture might be a good one to memorize. God will never forget about you. He will not forsake you.
“Sing for joy, O heavens! Rejoice, O earth! Burst into song, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted his people and will have compassion on them in their suffering. Yet Jerusalem says, “The Lord has deserted us; the Lord has forgotten us.” “Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? Let’s take a quick look at some of them now…IF a Fiery Furnace did NOT stop Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego...IF the Red Sea did NOT stop Moses...IF Jericho's Wall did NOT stop Joshua...IF The Lions Den did NOT stop Daniel...IF Goliath the Giant did NOT stop David…And IF Death did NOT stop Jesus; Then you can KNOW for certain with your FAITH in God that absolutely NOTHING can STOP you. “For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37) So today just DARE to BELIEVE God for that IMPOSSIBLE looking SITUATION you’re facing; For I set my FAITH with yours and I am BELIEVING it to BE DONE for you in JESUS NAME. Now as YOU do this and fully BELIEVE; You can be assured of having yourself a genuinely FAITH FILLED DAY.

It’s almost over, our story,

Rise and falls, evil and good.
We look to God to lead us.
We look to God to show us the way.
The Bible, the book of a lifetime,
Tells all the story, from Creation to the end.
As we hear rockets attacking Israel,
As our country deteriorates in faith in God,
We feel the end getting closer.
Our story here almost over and then Eternity waits.
