Contact the Joint Budget Committee members today

The Joint Budget Committee (JBC) is meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2024 and will be considering funding for the Colorado Area Agencies on Aging (AAA).

Please call or send an email to the JBC committee and urge them to fully fund the Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) $5 million budget request. Funding for community services to older adults is important to keeping them in independent living, which ultimately saves the state money.

Updates from this week's Legislative Caucus on Aging

At this week's Legislative Caucus on Aging at the Colorado State Capital, Senators Christopher Kolker and Joann Ginal and Representatives Mary Young and Judy Amabile shared information about the bills they are sponsoring that will impact older Coloradans. Their participation in community dialogue is so appreciated. We're and thankful for our elected officials and their support to ensure Coloradans age well!

Thank you to the Alzheimer's Association for co-sponsoring this week's meeting and to Next50 for providing breakfast.
