Lafayette Art & Wine Festival 2023
The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is proud to present our 26th annual premier community event showcasing the downtown business corridor.
Funds raised from this event enable the Chamber to provide our businesses and community at large with a variety of important services, program offerings, engagement, and resources throughout the year. We are also able to give back to our festival beneficiaries including Lafayette Partners in Education, many of the local school organizations and other participating non-profits.

The Lafayette Res Run for Education
Race Day is Sunday, October 22, 2023. 5k: 8am, 10k: 8:15am, 2 mile fun run/walk: 8:45am. Start/Finish Line is on Mt. Diablo Blvd. between Moraga Road and Oak Hill Road. Reservoir Challenge (Virtual Race): October 12-21, 2023. Please note, the Lafayette Reservoir is closed for the 10k runners on Race Day, Oct. 22.
The first 100 students to register from each school will receive a voucher at packet pickup for 1/4 lb of bulk candy from Zoonie's Candy Shop!
Healthy Lifestyles Health Fair is held at the same time as the races, Sunday, October 22, 2023, 7:30am-10:30am, Lafayette Circle (east side.) Includes vendors, kids' activities and more! Learn more at https://lafayettechamber.org/resrun.

Small Business Help Office Hours - Hosted by SCORE
SCORE has the largest network of free volunteer small business mentors in the nation. No matter what stage your business is at SCORE can be a valuable resource.
The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce has been partnering with SCORE for over 15 years.
We welcome our chamber members and community members to schedule a complimentary meeting with a SCORE representative on Tuesdays between the hours of 1:30pm-4:00pm in our Chamber office at 251 Lafayette Circle, Ste 150.
Mike Harris is our in-house SCORE counselor. Mike earned a BS with an emphasis on electronics from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA from Santa Clara University. After a few years in engineering, Mike spent most of his career in high tech marketing and operations management. While continuing to work in electronics he helped manage his family retail business. After retiring from his career in electronics, Mike began working with small businesses helping them obtain working capital loans. Besides mentoring, Mike helps present SCORE business plans and financial planning workshops.

The Lafayette Suburban Junior Women’s Club
Lafayette Juniors raised over $81,000 over the past 12 months for three local non-profit
organizations. In an outdoor celebration, the Lafayette Juniors awarded $27,000 to each
Lafayette Juniors organizes two fundraising events each year – a Rummage Sale in the fall
and a Lifestyle Tour in the spring. The traditional Kitchen Tour has evolved over the
last couple of years and beginning in 2022, the Tour included both outdoor and indoor
spaces which transformed the event into the Lifestyle Tour we have today!

EBMUD Community Meeting about Lafayette Reservoir Tower Retrofit Project on July 26
Attend the community meeting hosted by the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) to discuss the Lafayette Reservoir Tower Retrofit project. This informative session will take place on July 26 at 6 p.m. at Stanley Middle School (3455 School St.)
During the meeting, EBMUD Director John Coleman and the staff project team will provide an in-depth presentation on the project scope and the design of the tower retrofit. EBMUD is excited to share the details of this important infrastructure initiative that will enhance the safety and reliability of the region’s water supply, while also maintaining the aesthetics of the existing tower. This community meeting serves as an opportunity for Lafayette residents to gain valuable insights into the Lafayette Reservoir Tower Retrofit project, and have their questions or concerns addressed by the project experts.
