Come run for a great cause supporting our local schools! In 2024, the 32nd annual Lafayette Res Run for Education allowed the Chamber to give back over $37K to our local school organizations!

Complimenting the run is our Healthy Lifestyles Fair Sunday, October 19 from 7:30-10:30am. Stop by for treats, games and information from our fair vendors!

Trick or Treat Street

Trick or Treat Street


For a fun, safe Halloween event, children and their parents are invited to our Trick-or-Treat Street event on Mt. Diablo Blvd. from Plaza Way to Dewing Ave, Lafayette Circle and in La Fiesta Square from 4-6pm on Friday, October 24, 2025. This is a free event with candy and festivities provided Lafayette's local businesses. Don't forget to bring your Trick-or-Treat bag!

Bring the whole family on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9-11am, to this fun event with free food and information!   • Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors Humanitarians of the Year: Submit nominations by October 31 for a High School Student HERE and for an Adult Nomination HERE.
  • Board of Supervisors - October 7: Proclamations were issued recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Filipino American History Month, and Hunter Syndrome Awareness Day. The Board also honored the Rainbow Community Center on its 30th Anniversary and recognized Troy White for receiving the Carnegie Medal.
  • Statewide Special Election - November 4: Registered voters in Contra Costa County should receive their Official Ballots by October 13. For more information, visit ContraCostaVote.gov.
  • Bring the whole family to the Community Bike Festival on Saturday, October 25, from 10am-2pm at Iron Horse Middle School in San Ramon. Learn more HERE.
