It’s officially fall, and 2025 will be here before we know it! Once again, the Alliance family will launch the new year with 40 Days of Prayer. We’ll begin on Sunday, January 5, and conclude on Thursday, February 13. This year’s prayer emphasis will focus on the various attributes of the God to whom we pray.

• Week 1 – The Holiness of God

• Week 2 – The Eternality and Unchangeableness of God

• Week 3 – The Sovereignty of God

• Week 4 – The Power of God

• Week 5 – The Love of God

• Week 6 – The Grace and Mercy of God

Please find resources HERE.The resources will include graphics, sample sermon outlines, and weekly introductory videos featuring Alliance leaders, as well as children’s and youth materials. Additionally, President Stumbo—along with special guests—will be leading virtual prayer gatherings on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. ET.

We’d love to have you and your church participate with us. You can select from what we’re doing and add to it with prayer initiatives for your local church. There is no better way to begin the year than being on our knees together seeking the face of God.

Are you interested in doing more to reach out to immigrants and refugees in your community? Would you like to network together and learn about best practices?

Sometime in the next few weeks, a Zoom meeting will be organized for churches in the Mid-Atlantic District to discuss on how to reach out to this community.

If you would like to be included, please send a note to that effect to Rev. Mike Mercurio MMercurio@1stalliancechurch.com and he will add you to the list so that you can be notified in advance of the meeting.

The 2024 annual report will be launched on January 10, 2025, for our Alliance churches that are required to submit an annual report.

All lead pastors and annual editors will receive the log-in information for the annual report data capture application. Our goal is to complete the entire process by March 31, 2025, as we head into Council 2025 in May.

Thank you once again for your partnership and support in championing this process. If you have any questions, please reach out Isaac Charles at charlesi@cmalliance.org.

Additionally, here is a DOCUMENT with instructions on how to answer the questions on the annual report.

Here are key dates to remember:

January 10, 2025: annual report launch

February 14, 2025: last date for churches to submit annual report data
