It’s officially fall, and 2025 will be here before we know it! Once again, the Alliance family will launch the new year with 40 Days of Prayer. We’ll begin on Sunday, January 5, and conclude on Thursday, February 13. This year’s prayer emphasis will focus on the various attributes of the God to whom we pray.

• Week 1 – The Holiness of God

• Week 2 – The Eternality and Unchangeableness of God

• Week 3 – The Sovereignty of God

• Week 4 – The Power of God

• Week 5 – The Love of God

• Week 6 – The Grace and Mercy of God

We will be providing our usual packet of resources via email mid-November. The resources will include graphics, sample sermon outlines, and weekly introductory videos featuring Alliance leaders, as well as children’s and youth materials. Additionally, President Stumbo—along with special guests—will be leading virtual prayer gatherings on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. ET.

We’d love to have you and your church participate with us. You can select from what we’re doing and add to it with prayer initiatives for your local church. There is no better way to begin the year than being on our knees together seeking the face of God.

The District Executive Committee met on Dec 3rd, 2024, for a regularly scheduled quarterly meeting. We celebrated the positive changes we are seeing in our district and the fruit we are seeing since our solemn assembly.

We are celebrating that One in Christ Community Church in Hockessin has graduated to Accredited status and the ways God is moving in the Tidewater region.

We are also celebrating how people gave towards church planting during our matching fund. We spent time praying for specific needs in our district. We also elected Rev. Mike Mercurio as our new DEXCOM Vice-Chair.

The next meeting of DEXCOM is scheduled for January 21, 2025. 

The Location for the 2025 Mid-Atlantic District Conference is One in Christ Community Church, 2145 Graves Rd, Hockessin, DE 19707.

The date is October 6 - 8, 2025.

The 2024 annual report will be launched on January 10, 2025, for our Alliance churches that are required to submit an annual report.

All lead pastors and annual editors will receive the log-in information for the annual report data capture application. Our goal is to complete the entire process by March 31, 2025, as we head into Council 2025 in May.

Alliance Peacemaking’s mission is to change the culture of the Alliance family so we resolve conflict in a God-honoring way. To do this we use a biblical framework and common language to approach conflict. This is beneficial training for any season of life. It will greatly impact how conflict can be handled in both personal and business relationships.
