A Final Farewell

It has been a joy and an honor to serve as your District Superintendent for the past 11 and a half years. Julie and I move toward retirement with mixed feelings. We know that God has led us in this decision, yet we grieve the loss of you as our community and a role we loved. Serving you has been fulfilling and rewarding.

The time has come for us to hand over the leadership of the Mid-Atlantic District to Ira and Kari Towns. God has provided very capable and godly leadership for the next chapter in the life of the district. We stand confident in his choice and in the character of the Towns.

We love you and will continue to pray for your ministries, for your effective service, and that Christ will be honored by your faithful work for the kingdom. May God bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and give you peace.

With much love and respect,

Doug and Julie Conley.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Merry Christmas!

Wishing you peace, joy, and warm moments throughout the holiday season.

Christmas Offering 2025

The Alliance’s 2025 Christmas Offering is almost over—now is your church’s last chance to participate in transforming communities around the world this Christmas season!

Those of us in Christ already know Him as the Prince of Peace, but there are still many who have yet to receive the peace that the gospel provides. Would you encourage your congregation to join in giving to the Christmas Offering so that more of the world’s lost and unreached can encounter the peace that All of Jesus brings?

Thank you for how you serve!

ACLD

Hello district families,

Last year, ACLD embarked on a curriculum overhaul. Our objective was twofold. First, we embedded AI technology into all of our courses. This means that, beginning in 2026, we will be able to dramatically increase the number of languages we offer across all our programs. Stay tuned!

Second, we reintegrated all new consecration and ordination requirements into the program so that students can continue to complete the requirements through SOM. One additional change that has resulted from this is some course title changes. I’ve included a list of the new course titles and codes for your reference. We’ve begun implementing these changes already, and will continue rolling them out to our students in 2026. We wanted to provide you with an updated list before the main rollout, which will begin in earnest in 2026.

Thank you,

Steve Grusendorf

National Director for ACLD
