Alliance Council 2023
Registration is now open for Alliance Council 2023 in Spokane, Washington, May 29 – June 2.

Nestled in the scenic Pacific Northwest, the Spokane Convention Center has the advantage of being in the heart of the city while seated amid some of the most picturesque landscapes, making it an ideal venue to explore or just sit back and hear from the Lord. From the Spokane River Gorge to Mt. Spokane and Spokane Falls—and an impressive array of art galleries and museums—there are many memorable adventures awaiting you in and around this great city.

In addition, Spokane has made a name for itself in the national food scene—all within walking distance of the convention center and hotels at a great price point.

The most compelling reason we gather at Council, however, is to seek the Spirit’s presence and power for life and ministry. We come expectant that He will meet us where we are and lead us to where He wants us to be.

Your presence at Alliance Council 2023 is vital to the growth and vitality of our work together.
Let’s come expectant of our Lord’s guidance as we seek Him in:

  • Worship
  • Healing and Communion
  • The updating of our Alliance Statement of Faith
  • Polity on men and women in leadership
  • The election of new Board members
  • The Project Reimagine timeline
  • The commissioning of new international workers
  • The forward momentum of our All of Jesus for All the World vision!

EquippingU Live
We are glad to invite you to the EquippingU Live fall webinar to be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 12 p.m. EST.

Dr. Timothy Koller, associate dean of innovation and educational systems at Denver Seminary will be presenting on “Deepening Our Reserves: Emotional Intelligence for Pastoral Health and Resilience.”

Congregations and communities are at their best when pastors are thriving; yet, pastoral ministry is filled with exhausting, complex challenges that can leave ministers feeling overwhelmed and burnt out. The long-term, sustainable solution is not trying harder or working longer hours. This session will show you how to build emotional intelligence, which, when practiced regularly, will lead to ministry health and resilience.

Join us as we talk about emotional intelligence for pastoral health and resilience.

Great Commission Day 2023
Choose a day or weekend between April 1 and June 30 for your church to come together to send new workers- and support those already sent- as they launch gospel presence in some of the world's remaining hard places.

Also... Mark your calendars for a One Night Only event on the evening of April 5, where we'll hear from an Alliance IW couple moving into a Middle Eastern city where there are less than 50 known believers among the 1.5 million ethnic majority in that city.

More information coming soon.
The Alliance Arts Festival
Join us for The Alliance Arts Festival at Council 2023 in Spokane. The event is being launched to celebrate the arts, integrate them into personal and corporate worship, and foster a deeper sense of community among Alliance creatives.

This is a chance to pay forward the creative gifts God gave you by helping others deepen their walk with Jesus through the arts. It’s also an iron-sharpening-iron networking opportunity for Alliance artists to connect, collaborate, and co-create through a variety of media.

Participants are invited to submit their work in the areas of cinematic, visual, and language arts. Submissions will be accepted between February 1 and April 7, 2023. To qualify, all works must have been completed after May 2021 (the date of the previous Alliance Council). Submissions deemed by the judges to be gratuitously vulgar, violent, or sexual in nature will be disqualified from entry.
The cost per Submission is $15. Multiple submissions may be entered.

Films must have a minimum resolution of 1080p, landscape or portrait, and must be encoded in .mp4 or .mov formats.
