District Youth Retreat 2023
|
''District Youth Retreat was an amazing weekend! We had 250 students and 54 adult leaders from all across the Mid-Atlantic District, and the weekend was filled with powerful worship, teaching, and discussion time. One of my favorite parts of the weekend was getting to hear testimonies from students of how God has been working in their lives over the past few years.
These were powerful and moving stories and it was incredible to see how God is doing great things through the youth of the Mid-Atlantic District. We have reports from many churches of students who responded by saying yes to Jesus for the first time, and others who made recommitments and decisions to fully surrender. One pastor told me that when their bus returned back to the church, the students were celebrating like they had just won the world cup! They were sharing with their parents and friends about all the powerful things Jesus did throughout the weekend, and it was a joyous moment for all.
Thank you to all who were praying for our weekend and to all who helped make District Youth Retreat 2023 a huge success, we can't wait for next year!" - Collin Reid, Next Generation Pastor, Staunton Alliance Church.

Great Commission Day 2023
|
When your church gives to the 2023 Great Commission Day Offering, it launches gospel presence among lost, suffering, and overlooked people in the world's remaining hard places.
Choose a day or weekend before June 30 for your church to come together in prayer and giving to send the good news—in word and deed—to places where it has yet to be shared.
By now you should have received a poster and an invitation to help promote GC Day to your congregation. The rest of this year’s campaign resources will be made available in a digital format. These resources—which include printable bulletin inserts, video segments, promotional announcements, presentation slides, instructions for your church treasurer, and campaign graphics—will enable you to promote the offering during Sunday morning worship or through email, social media, and any other digital communications used by your church.
Links to these digital resources can be found at cmalliance.org/gcday and have been emailed to your church.

Thanks to the generosity of some Alliance churches and friends, gifts made to the Great Commission Day Offering on June 2, National GC Day, will be matched up to $360,000! This means Alliance churches can double their impact in launching gospel presence among the world’s marginalized, displaced, and unreached by making a gift on June 2 at cmalliance.org/give.
This is also a great opportunity for those in your congregation who may never have taken the opportunity to give. Their gifts can be doubled in sending the 50 new Alliance international workers being commissioned at Alliance Council 2023 on National GC Day—and sustaining those already sent—as they launch gospel presence in some of the world’s hardest places.

September is Church Multiplication Month
|
Multiplication is core to the mission of the Church. Planting churches has always been—and continues to be—the best way to win the lost, disciple them into loving, nurturing, communities of faith, and develop them into winsome disciple makers. This is how Christ’s Kingdom is multiplied on earth!
The Alliance is and has always been a church-planting movement, and church multiplication is vital to the fulfillment of our Acts 1:8 mandate and our All of Jesus for All the World vision. God is always opening new windows of opportunity to plant churches among marginalized, least-reached populations in our cities, suburbs, and rural areas. As His people, we seize opportunities to walk through the doors He opens.
This September, The Alliance will be celebrating Multiplication Month. Please plan now to designate one Sunday in September as Church Planting Sunday in your church. Later this year, the National Office Church Multiplication team will be sending digital resources to help you convey the importance of church planting to your congregation and explain how they can be a vital part of a multiplication movement.
Stay tuned!
