- Please say a prayer for the family of Sharron Shell, wife of Rick Shell-the pastor of Frederick Alliance Church, whose mother passed away on Sunday June 11.
- Please say a prayer for Doug Ellenberger. He had a complete knee replacement on May 11 and his recovery is going slowly. His lymph nodes in his calf are not opening enough to allow for the swelling to go down and they are having to massage his legs at therapy instead of doing much actual physical therapy.

Have a great story that will encourage your brothers and sisters in Christ? We would love to share your story right here!

The District Executive Committee met in person on June 20th, 2023 at the District Office for a regularly scheduled quarterly meeting. DEXCOM spent time in prayer submitting to Christ and one another as we make decisions.
As we met, we were excited to hear stories of church plants dreaming about creative ways they can reach the lost. Our church plants are dreaming about planting new churches and we are praying for more of our churches to catch that vision.
We are also excited to hear stories of district churches pursuing greater levels of health through programs like PEAK and Healing the Heart.
We are excited for the ways Jesus is growing and stretching us as a district.

Project 2819: Developing Disciplemakers
|
We are happy to announce that at General Council 2023, ACLD launched a new disciplemaking program: Project 2819: Developing Disciplemakers.
Dear District Families,
First, thank you for your generous support of the launch of our new Discipleship curriculum (Project 2819). We are thrilled that, to date, over 100 churches are registered and engaging Discipleship more deeply in their local church. Several of you reached out over the past week and asked that we extend the promotion that we launched at Council. Our response is, OF COURSE!
Churches can sign up for an account at 2819.allianceleaders.org and use the promo code DISCIPLESHIP to receive the first 90 days free of charge. To use the code, click the “have a coupon” link, add the code, and click apply. It’s that simple.
We’ve seen great success when districts send out a quick note to their churches to consider using this tool. If you have not yet shared this resource with your district family, may I encourage you to do so? If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Hilda Maysonet MaysonetH@cmalliance.org We are here to support you.

The event is scheduled for October 13–14. The Alliance Young Adult conference will reach out to those who are in the 18–30 year old age range. The focus is to provide a place for Alliance young adults to experience the deeper life in Christ and discover their purpose in the local church.

Great Commission Day 2023
|
When your church gives to the 2023 Great Commission Day Offering, it launches gospel presence among lost, suffering, and overlooked people in the world's remaining hard places.
Choose a day or weekend before June 30 for your church to come together in prayer and giving to send the good news—in word and deed—to places where it has yet to be shared.
By now you should have received a poster and an invitation to help promote GC Day to your congregation. The rest of this year’s campaign resources will be made available in a digital format. These resources—which include printable bulletin inserts, video segments, promotional announcements, presentation slides, instructions for your church treasurer, and campaign graphics—will enable you to promote the offering during Sunday morning worship or through email, social media, and any other digital communications used by your church.
Links to these digital resources can be found at cmalliance.org/gcday and have been emailed to your church.
