Welcome to Monday Mail!
SPECIAL EDITION
From the Principal
Greetings Trickum Families,

First and foremost, I would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding in these unprecedented times.

Beginning Monday and continuing through at least this week, digital learning assignments will be posted by 10:30am daily on each teacher's eCLASS page. Teachers will also post a minimum of three 30-minute time slots for Office Hours where they will be present live in the eCLASS environment, on a discussion board, etc. to be immediately responsive to assist students. Should your family have difficulty accessing the eCLASS environment, please email your teacher(s) as they will be able to provide assignments via email and/or get you some technical assistance. We've asked our teachers to provide in-line quality assignments as if they were in school. We expect learning to continue at the same level as before.

For basic eCLASS "how-to's" be sure to visit the GCPS website.

GCPS will be providing drive-though lunch pick-up at 68 locations within the district for anyone 18 years or younger. We are asking Trickum families to utilize Arcado Elementary as your primary pick-up location.

Our building will be open if you need to pick up materials (or instruments). We ask that you please limit your time and understand that teachers will not be present, only essential office personnel. Please enter and exit through the main front doors.

ALL planned school activities, field trips, meetings, etc. have been canceled for now and will be rescheduled when we resume normal school operations.

We will continue to keep you informed as we receive more information and further guidance from GCPS. Please continue to visit the main GCPS website as well as our Trickum website for updates.

Again, thank you for your patience and understanding. Feel free to reach out to the school by phone or to any Assistant Principal or myself by email and we will work together to answer your questions and assist with any other needs you or your family might have.
