College of DuPage Midwest Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit


The Midwest Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit Entrepreneurs, Educators, and Economic Development Leaders Midwesterners are famous for getting things done. Since the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893, Chicagoland has been a hub of enterprise and entrepreneurs, from Marshall Field to ThinkCERCA’s Eileen Murphy Buckley.


To celebrate and continue this legacy of successful innovation, the inaugural all-day summit provides resources and support for educators and aspiring entrepreneurs and connects partners and funders to the growing suburban incubation and acceleration movement led by Innovation DuPage.

Pumpkin Fest at Cosley Zoo


Thousands of pumpkins will line the front lawn of Cosley Zoo this October at the zoo's annual Pumpkin Fest, happening October 1-31. Visitors can pick out a pumpkin, sip on cider, purchase various seasonal outdoor decor items, and make new family memories—all while enjoying a visit to the zoo! Cosley Zoo is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day in October.


Regular zoo admission rates apply for Pumpkin Fest. Cosley Zoo is FREE every day for children ages 0-17 and for Wheaton Park District residents of all ages!


Ladies & Gents Night Out


Join Belmont Village for a festive night out! Enjoy wine, cheese, and hors d'oeuvres, and begin your holiday shopping. In addition to many local vendors, our own "Creative Endeavors" art club residents will sell their handmade jewelry. Raffle prizes will be available with all proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer's Association.
